South County Barbeque is a Rhode Island-based, mobile food service and catering company that features traditional wood-fired meats, savory sides, and unique smoked creations.

South County Barbeque, “SCQ” is a proudly veteran owned and operated company by Arthur Evans. Arthur began cooking with fire along his path to earning The Eagle Scout Award in The Boy Scouts of America and continued to hone his craft while Serving The 143d Airlift Wing for over 20 years as an Air Force Instructor and Hobbyist Barbecue Guru. During the pandemic, Arthur grew restless as Financial Analyst for The Naval Undersea Warecenter and decided it was time to start his own Small Business. 

By the Summer of 2022, Arthur established South County Barbeque and hit the ground running, serving the local community competition-style barbecue at farmers’ markets, craft breweries, and catered private events.
